3D designs


Here's a spider design I did in my 3D design class. The goal is to create an object using one shape. I used different sizes of the cone-like shape to create the spider-like appearance. The project turned out decent.


Here's another design using the same concept. This design seem simple, but it was really difficult to create two half circles going the opposite direction while balancing the object upright. I was amazed that the piece stayed up.

I really like your work Franklin! Thanks for sharing some of it. I think this one is my favorite. You're right about something that may look very simplistic can be actually quite complex when building for real.
